The Education Foundation for the St. Vrain Valley has awarded over $1,500,000 in grants to teachers grants, student scholarships and other projects. Our projects include:
Grants for Teachers – up to $700, to support projects from St Vrain Valley School District teachers and selected community organizations that provide innovative ideas maximize the effectiveness of teachers and result in enhanced student achievement. > More information and application form...
The Eleanor Venture – an annual scholarship of up to $3,500 for a teacher who desires to enrich his or her instructional expertise through domestic or international travel.
Technology – the Education Foundation supports various programs that enhance technology in classrooms across the school district and provide related professional development for teachers. Opportunities to increase financial support for this program are routinely being investigated.
Encore Award Program – “Teacher of the 21st Century Student” - This awards program, provides the opportunity for students, parents, community members and business partners the opportunity to recognize and honor individual teachers at the Pre-K – 12 levels in the St. Vrain Valley School District who exemplify excellence in teaching.
Student Scholarships – for high school graduates going on to college and low-income students pursuing a high school diploma, upgrading career skills, or completing their GED through the Adult Education.
Crayons to Calculators – providing school supplies to children in need.
