Education Foundation to Host Tech Fair 2012 for St. Vrain Valley District Students

The Education Foundation provides a number of scholarships for high school graduates going on to college each spring. The deadline for submission is February 28, 2012.

Encore Award nominations are currently being accepted.

Education Foundation for the St. Vrain Valley
2011 - 2012 The Eleanor Venture Application

Eligibility:
A K-12 teacher at a public school located within the boundaries of the St. Vrain Valley School District.

Purpose:
To fund a domestic or international travel/educational experience that will enhance the teacher’s classroom skills and/or curriculum and benefit the teacher’s students.  Travel should be completed by September 15th of the current year. 

Grant Amount:
Up to $3,500

Grant Payable:
100% upon selection

Selection Criteria:
Strength of proposal and recommendations

Selection Process:
As determined by the Foundation’s selection committee, but will include a personal interview with each finalist.

Application Deadline:
Must be submitted electronically no later than March 1. In addition, 3 letters of recommendation supporting the application need to be send to submissions.efsvv@comcast.net.

Interviews:
Finalists will be interviewed in mid-to-late March. Specific dates will be determined annually.

Grant Award:
No later than April 1.
