The 2012 BRAVO AWARDS were presented to Western Disposal and the St. Vrain Valley Credit Union on May 4th at the Tribute to Teachers for their exceptional contributions to the St. Vrain Valley School District.

At the April 24th Board of Directors meeting, the Education Foundation awarded $7,000 in scholarships to nine exceptional District students. 

Encore Award nominations are currently being accepted.

Each spring the Education Foundation's Board of Directors gladly award the Eleanor Venture Travel Grant to one deserving St. Vrain Valley School District teacher to use on domestic or international travel which ultimately enriches the classroom experience.  A public presentation made by the 2011 Eleanor Venture Travel Grant recipient, Scott Brungardt, will be held on Tuesday, January 24th, 2012 in the Erie High School Commons.  Scott will share the highlights from his exploration of Belize and Guatemala. The presentation will begin at 5:30 p.m. and the public is encouraged to attend.
