At noon, Zometool founder, Paul Hildebrandt, will speak to those in attendance and invite them to have some fun with his geodesic shapes that are “loved by kids and used by Nobel Prize winners”. ABOUT STEM in St. Vrain Valley Schools – Over the past several years the school district has strengthened its STEM curriculum at all grade levels increasing awareness of the skills our students will need to be successful in the 21st Century. A number of schools and even entire feeder systems have taken on STEM or technology as their primary focus. Other schools have expanded the accessibility of technology for students across curriculum areas. Professional development opportunities to help teachers expand the use of technology in their classroom have expanded considerably to support these directions.
